During a comprehensive eye exam, the doctor will perform tests to check your vision sharpness, determine your prescription strength, examine how your eyes work together, and check the fluid pressure in your eyes. She may also dilate your eyes to see if you have any eye conditions or signs of other serious health conditions.
Our contact lens exam consists of a comprehensive eye exam and a contact lens fitting. A contact lens exam includes a spherical and toric contact lens fitting exam. A contact lens fitting exam is necessary to ensure the lenses are fitting both eyes properly and that the health of the eyes is not harmed by the contact lenses.
Our specialty contact lens exam is fitting of multifocal or rigid gas permeable lenses.
Our doctor has extensive training to handle whatever your eye care needs may be, including emergency care services for eye infections, inflammation, allergies, and injuries, including the removal of foreign objects lodged on the front surface of the eye.
The Optomap is new technology that allows our doctor to view the overall health of the back of your eye without dilation. The camera is able to get wide views of your retina and alleviates you from having to deal with blurred and uncomfortable vision after your eye exam.
